Nice idea. I can't wait to see the pitched blades !!!
You can change the pitch (angles and spacing) to make antenna towers or power transmission towers.

Yep! I was also very curious if this could be made. So here's my latest results, for the naked eye, I think it is satisfactory. The wheel with blades was engraved using 3D, then it was turn around and was engraved again on the back side, it spin very well when I blow on it.

    Another angle view.

    Nice work Ben. :)
I se that I must step up my Lazer time to try out some more stuff. But right now I don't have a lazermashine for for at least 2-3weeks. :(
We sell everyone we have so we have to order up some new ones. :)

Nice diorama Torsja, since you have so many diorama's now are you thinking of connecting them together for a tabletop layout? It would be real cool! :D

    Torsja,
It looks like you placed fabric over the board before laying your ground cover, if so what kind of fabric?

The fabric is just a coincidence. It was already on the wooden plate I used from another thing and I would not use that again because the colour is not god and the fluffiness/strands is shining thru and mess up photographing and so on.

But I guess it is kind off the same material that is used on pool tables and so on.

I'm building a Southern Pacific station. I should have photos in a few days when it's finished and I get back from my trip.

It looks like a lot of us got GC Laser kits recently. I got mine for Christmas. Here's my progress so far on the barn and farm house kits. I think these kits are pretty easy to assemble, the only thing I'm not crazy about are the shingles for the roofs. For the time being I'm leaving mine off and just painting the roofs in case I find something better. Overall I'm very impressed with these kits.
