As our standard practice, Ztrack Magazine subscribers will be able to order these direct. Of course they will also be available through the AZL dealer network.

Robert, contact me offline and I will be glad to reserve two for you.

    The e-mail address is ztrack@aol.com

This little horsie went to market,

    This little horsie stayed home,

This little horsie went to Phil's house,

And this little horsie...also went to Phil's house!! :D [IMG]

    Rob,

These look absolutely awesome!! I have a few questions.

    1. Since these are injection molded, there's really no danger of them "selling out," correct?

    2. Do you know if there are going to be any releases with the new "Horsehead" logo?

    3. Do you know anything about the standard cabs yet? Will they become available sometime soon?

    4. Are the coalporters coming out about the same time as the initial SD70's, or will they be plus or minus a week or few?

    5. And lastly, any clue on what the next winning lottery numbers will be?  [IMG] :D

Thank you very much for the pictures and updates!

    - Phil

Phil here is what I know as of know.

1: Correct. Always possible that they well sell out, but we are making many more than than we do with the brass.

2: I am not sure. ALZ is planning on releasing a number of different versions so it is highly possible.

3: I am not sure on the standard cabs. I don't have a date for these.

4: Yes, the coal porters will be ready the same time if not sooner.

5: My bet would be any combination of 220!

    Now that's what I call... HORSEPOWER! :D

Wait a second *puts on detail hat* Is that a whiteface above the windshield? From what I can see... they started putting the whiteface and horsehead logo on 2590 and above... It looks like that's where the flared-radiator models begin.

Which wheel has the traction tire on it, and is there any word on performance as yet?

As much as I'd like it, that's going to be the deciding factor in my purchase decision.

Sorry for being so evil, but how could I resist? I had to share!!!

Both owners of AZL have reported that the locomotive is a very good runner. I haven't test one yet but I have no doubts. I am not sure which axle has the traction tires. You can't tell by looking at the photo.

One interesting note is that AZL will be offering spare parts, including trucks with both traction tires and no traction tires. Ajin reports that the traction tires are 'lifetime' tires and will not need to be replaced. Interesting....

Good call on the white face. I e-mail AZL and hopefully it is not too late to correct.

I was just looking over the Ztrack AZl pages and the more I look at the UP version, the more I like it's paintjob:

The SP SD70s are coming. So are BN!

Good news. It looks like the Ztrack subscriber price will be $215.00. Shipping and handling is extra.
